Multifunctional Composite (MC) Research Group
Research activities of the multifunctional composite research group are centered around the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles and composites systems using solution chemistry methods. The interfacial properties are engineered and controlled to fabricate advanced multifunctional composites with specific properties or behaviors. As part of the interdisciplinary collaborative research efforts in this group, the design and engineering of these systems for various applications such as biomedical imaging, optical waveguide amplifiers, diagnostic devices and gas separation technologies are also explored .
