- We have officially launched our prototype Ami (Advancing Mental Invigoration) app (previously called DISC) on 29 September 2023 by Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat at the Lions Befrienders’ Active Ageing Centre on 1000 IM-OK Android devices.
- Ami app is a multilingual app that aims to help improve verbal memory and stave off dementia in seniors through gamification. It currently offers three touch-screen games in six different languages and dialects – English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil, Hokkien, and Cantonese.

- Giving invited talks at Tsinghua University
- The LASC Lab will be starting the Fall 2015/2016 Psychology Brown Bag series on “Human Cognition and Cognitive Plasticity” on October 14 2015. It will be held on Wednesdays from 1:30-2:30pm in the Da Vinci room (3.401.01). The Psychology Brown Bag is an opportunity for researchers and students to engage in scholarly discussions on seminal research in psychology, especially in the area of language and social cognition.
