Every year, we expect to have positions of 1 research fellow (RF): 2 year (1+1 renewable) and 1 PhD student (4 years scholarship) and multiple short-term positions for visiting researchers or visiting graduate students (6 to 12 months) on the following areas (theory, modeling and simulation). 

1. Modeling of nano-plasma formation in a nanogap at ultrafast time switching.
2. Electromagnetic effects at nanoscale – Formulation, numerical solutions and COMSOL simulation
3. Charge injection and quantum transport for 2D materials – Formulation, numerical solutions and DFT simulation
4. Ultrafast light-matter interaction for PHz electronics – Formulation, numerical solutions and TD-DFT simulation
5. Modeling using fractional calculus for physics (quantum) and engineering (Maxwell equations, plasma) – Formulation, numerical solutions and simulation
6. Physics informed neutral networks (PINN) for design of meta-surfaces – AI and EM simulation

Our preferences people with strong background in Physics, Applied mathematics, EE, and Material Engineering with computational backgrounds. The RF positions are expected to start in anytime in May or June 2024.
