  1. Postdoctoral position in Shape Analysis (Immediate opening)
  2. We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow who has experience with shape analysis, data visualization, computational design, geometric modelling, computational geometry, 3D printing. He/she will design and develop a computational algorithm that allows multifunctional design and will lead to novel areas of research in computational design, computer graphics, CAD/CAM and 3D printing.

    Duration: 2 years and can be extended.

    Qualification:

    • PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or related areas.
    • Strong programming skill in C/C++ and Matlab
    • Expertise in OpenGL, OpenCL, Cuda or Open Inventor is preferable
    • Expertise in Google Sketchup, 3DSmax is preferable
    • A strong publication record, at least one first author paper in top venues such as CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, TPAMI, IJCV, SIGGRAPH / SIGGRAPHAsia, TOG, TVCG, Eurographics etc.

    The successful candidate may need to visit MIT for at least 2 months for a collaborative project.

    Salary will be commensurated with the successful applicants' accomplishments, experience and qualifications. Singapore has a low income tax of around 7% (IRAS).

  3. Postdoctoral position in 3D Reconstruction with Consumer Depth Sensor (Immediate opening)
  4. We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow who has experience with consumer depth sensor such as Kinect, Structure Sensor, etc. The successful candidate is expected to develop and apply 3D reconstruction algorithms using consumer depth sensor on objects and scenes with various scales. Applicants should have experience on Kinect Fusion. Prior experience on photometric stereo, shape-from-shading, light field camera, multiview stereo and structure-from-motion will be a plus.

    Duration: 2 years and can be extended.

    Qualification:

    • PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or related areas.
    • Experience in Kinect Fusion

  5. Postdoctoral position in Multi-view Stereo (Immediate opening)
  6. We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow who has experience on Multi-view Stereo. The successful candidate is expected to develop and apply Multi-view Stereo algorithms on objects and scenes with various scales. Applicants should have experience on multi-view stereo and structure from motion. Prior experience on photometric stereo, shape-from-shading, non rigid registration, depth sensor and light field camera will be a plus.

    Duration: 2 years and can be extended.

    • PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related areas.
    • Experience in Multi-view stereo and structure from motion.
    • Strong programming skill in C/C++ and Matlab

  10. We are looking for research assistant who is passionated about doing cutting edge research on acquiring real world 3D shapes and printing 3D models.

    The successful candidate will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience state-of-the-art 3D scanning systems on various scales and 3D printing systems.

    Duration: 2 years and can be extended.

    Qualification:

    • Bachelor in Computer Science, Mathematics or Electrical Engineering, or related areas.
    • Strong programming skill in C/C++ or Java, Python and Matlab.
    • Experience with multi-view stereo, photometric stereo is a plus.
    • Experience with 3DSMax, Maya and GoogleSketchUp is a plus.

  12. We are looking for research assistant who is passionated on developing interesting and useful app for real life applications.

    Projects involved interior design, fashion design, image processing and editing.

    Duration: 2 years and can be extended.

    Qualification:

    • Bachelor in Computer Science, Mathematics or Electrical Engineering, or related areas.
    • Strong programming skill with mobile OS.
    • Basic knowledge in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator.
